Ford's Finest Featured at Carlisle

What's better than a well planned out event?  A well planned out event, sunny skies and 75 degrees.  This year's Carlisle Ford Nationals offered that, plus it showcased the past, present and future of the brand.  Ford weekend hosted over 3,000 cars and 50,000+ guests, while spotlighting the Ford GT, GT350 Mustang, Merkur and the Thunderbird.  Guests came from all over too, with 35 different US states, Canada, Australia, France and New Zealand just to name a few represented at Carlisle.

Kia Motors Europe records best April ever

Kia Motors Europe has achieved its best ever April sales, with year-to-date growth of 7.4% according to the latest data from ACEA (European Automobile Manufacturers’ Association) Kia posted volumes of 33,602* last month, resulting in the best April sales results ever recorded by the Korean brand in Europe. This immediately follows the brand’s best-ever first quarter, during which Kia sold 96,062 units (+7.4% year-on-year in the first quarter of 2015).

The Ferrari Classiche Department has just completed the restoration of the 1954 Ferrari 500 Mondial Spyder PF originally owned by Dominican gentleman driver Porfirio Rubirosa. Rolls-Royce today unveiled the latest addition to its range of marine thrusters, with the launch of a new azimuth thruster powered by permanent magnet (PM) technology. Launched at the Nor-Shipping maritime exhibition in Oslo, the new thruster is the Group’s latest development of PM technology, which already includes tunnel thrusters and a newly developed winch.
