Clothing stores increasingly often specialise in a specific type of assortment. Even chain stores have their own unique character and try to distinguish themselves from competitors. More and more stores focus on the production and sale of sportswear. Therefore, manufacturers of mannequins also design models that are specifically intended for such stores.

Modern sports mannequins

Modern mannequins are much different from those that were popular ten to twenty years ago. First of all, they are made from attractive and durable materials which make mannequins look good both in the display window and inside the store, between the shelves and clothing racks.

Mannequins created with sports shops in mind are often set in specific positions that are intended to depict the movement of people doing particular sports, such as running, yoga, kayaking, or gymnastics. This allows to present sports clothes in a much more interesting way. The poses are more dynamic, which attracts the attention of customers. Putting clothes on such a mannequin also allows you to show how the garment will look on different poses.

Modern forms and materials

Modern mannequins often have a minimalist form that is adapted to the needs of today's customers. Manufacturers offer mannequins made from modern materials that have a relatively low weight and are resistant to mechanical damage. In addition, if the store sells non-standard garments which require a different kind of mannequins, such as plus size sportswear or clothing for unusual sports, a customised mannequin that will be fully tailored to the store’s requirements can be ordered.

Of course, sports mannequins are just part of the offer available for clothing stores. Manufacturers generally provide a wide selection of models - from classic boutique mannequins to pregnancy and plus size models.
